It’s that time of year again and we are well underway in our preparations for the National Ploughing Championships from the 23rd to the 25th of September in Stradbally, Co. Laois. This year Sheep Ireland has been invited in to the Irish Farmers Journal Livestock Demonstration Stand. There will be three demos each day at 10, 12 & 2 o’clock. Each demo will look at the Dairy, Beef & Sheep sectors including markets, management and breeding, with each demo lasting approximately 30 minutes. This is the first year sheep will appear on the stand so it is a great opportunity for Sheep Ireland to spread the message about the benefits of the €uroStars. We will also have a presence in the sheep tunnel which is run by the National Sheep Breeders Association (NSBA) over the three days.
