Summer Breeding Workshops Begin This Thursday 18th July

The first of the Summer Breeding Workshops is set to take place in John Larges this Thursday 18/07/2024.

There will be speakers from both Teagasc and Sheep Ireland, this event will be aimed at both pedigree and commercial farmers.

John Large is one of the central progeny test farms working with Sheep Ireland to identify the top performing bloodlines in Irish sheep. This will be an excellent opportunity to chat with both Teagasc and Sheep Ireland representatives while soaking up the information presented on the night!

The event will begin at 7pm on Johns Farm, Thurles Co. Tipperary.

If you cant make this event, see our events listed below.

Any Questions contact Sheep Ireland.

In conjunction with Teagasc, Sheep Ireland will be holding summer breeding workshops throughout the country.

These events will specifically cater for commercial farmers and pedigree breeders together.
Each workshop will begin at 7:00pm.

This is a great opportunity for commercial farmers and breeders to gain some valuable breeding practice information to increase genetic gain on Irish sheep farms, and to get to know the latest updates about the Sheep Improvement Scheme.

Workshops are based all over the country to ensure that farmers and breeders get the opportunity to attend. Sheep Ireland encourages everyone to go.
