Organised by Sheep Ireland, the sale will feature over 100 SIS-approved rams from 17 Hill sheep breeding groups across the country, representing a range of hill breeds including: Cheviot, Dingle Scotch Blackface, Lanark Blackface, Mayo-Connemara Blackface, Perth Blackface and Swaledale.

All rams offered for sale must meet strict entry requirements, including DNA sire verification, scrapie genotype 1-2-3, and a comprehensive physical inspection on the day of sale, giving buyers confidence when selecting the rams.

The event provides an excellent opportunity for farmers to source from quality SIS approved Hill rams.

Entry details for breeders:

Entries are now open, and closing date is Monday October 5^th at 12:00pm (midday).

There are 3 ways to enter rams:

1. Login to your own Sheep Ireland account and enter through the online entry option.
2. Send your Email to [email protected] with your Name, Herd Number, and the full Department tag numbers (NSIS) of your rams
3. Call us with your entries on 023 882 0451.
