Sheep Ireland will host its 3rd Multi-Breed Hill Ram Sale on Friday, 9th October 2026 at 6:00 pm in Manorhamilton Mart. View and download the catalogue here.

This is a fantastic opportunity for Hill group breeders who have been making genetic progress in the hill sector over the last years, and an ideal opportunity for Hill farmers to meet the requirements of the Sheep Improvement Scheme.

All rams will be SIS-approved on the night.

This is a Multi-breed Hill ram sale, including: Cheviot, Dingle Scotch Blackface, Lanark Blackface, Mayo-Connemara Blackface, Perth Blackface and Swaledale.

All rams are also required to pass a physical inspection to gain entry into the sale, being assessed on their mouths, testicles, feet, and any other physical defects.

This will give online bidders confidence the ram they are choosing is physically correct. Although the sales inspectors will reject any ram which in their opinion are unfit for sale, rams should be inspected by the purchaser. Sheep Ireland and Manorhamilton Mart are not liable for the health or fertility of any rams sold.
