Over 1450 flocks have signed up to performance record their animals in 2024.
Now that the deadline for joining LambPlus has passed for lowland breeders, Sheep Ireland is delighted to inform that the number of breeders that have joined the LambPlus performance recording program has once again increased for the 2024 season.
This is a very positive message for the Irish Sheep Industry as this has multiple implications:

It shows that more and more breeders are seeing the benefit of performance recording their flocks.

More flocks performance recording means more rams with Euro-Stars and SIS eligible will be available for commercial farmers to select from in 2024.

More flocks recording means more data will be flowing into the EuroStar evaluations each week which will result in more accurate evaluations for everyone.
