The new Ram Daughter report, is a report that groups your breeding females that have lambed that year by their sire. This reports purpose is to allow you to see which of your stock rams are producing the most efficient and productive breeding females.

When you open your report you will see the report is split into two tabs “Lambing” and “Weighing” similar to the Ram report

On the lambing tab, you can find a lambing summary for all the ewes that have lambed in your flock for the report year you have selected and they are grouped by sire. The data displayed illustrates the average lambing performance of offspring by Maternal Grandsire in this flock, adjusted for age.

Similarly the weighing tab illustrates the average weights of offspring by Maternal Grandsire in this flock, adjusted for age. Lambs are not always exactly 40 days old when weighed. Some might be 40 days, some might be 38 days, and some might be 43 days old. We show adjusted weights, which means we try to estimate what the weight would have been at exactly 40 days of age.

Underneath both tables you will see this data displayed in a chart, this allows you to quickly compare the sires of your breeding ewes and examine how grand progeny are performing.

The Default tab “All” display all maternal grandsires of your females lambed that year. This can be further filtered Pedigree or Commercial based on the grand progeny category.

The list can also be filtered by breed, or you can search the name of a particular sire you are interested in.
