Final Reminder LambPlus Deadline

The deadline for entering lambing information onto the system is this coming Monday April 30th, after this date any lambs entered will not receive genetic evaluations in 2018. We will facilitate breeders that have late lambs born after this date but we would ask you to notify us prior to the deadline.

Sheep Ireland Board Meeting

A Sheep Ireland Board Meeting takes place next Thursday 3rd May, we encourage any feedback in advance of this meeting. This can either be emailed to [email protected] or sent to your relevant board representative. You will find their details here.

CPT 40 Day Weights

This week we started collecting 40 day weights from CPT lambs, these lambs range from 20-65 days of age and had an ADG of 273 g/day. Almost 1,300 ewes and lambs have been weighed, Body Condition Scored, Dag scored and had any incidences of lameness and mastitis recorded via our new LambPlus App. We will continue our collection of 40 day weights next week to ensure they are all weighed within the correct bracket.
