Sheep Ireland launched the LambPlus App this year allowing LambPlus breeders to record their lambing at their convenience – even if there is no connection to the internet. Once the flock is downloaded whilst connected to internet, the information that is inputted into the app whilst disconnected is stored and uploaded once the phone/tablet is connected to internet again.

The app began with only enabling breeders to record lambing, however breeders can now record weights and mating at their convenience. The number of downloads is just over 150 and is increasing every week!. This is very positive as breeders can reap the benefits of recording made easier by using the LambPlus app.
