Sheep Ireland were in attendance at the latest SheepNet workshop in Teagasc Athenry last Friday 19th October.

SheepNet – Sharing Expertise and Experience towards sheep Productivity through NETworking

SheepNet is an EU Network, to increase sheep productivity and flock profitability by knowledge exchange!

The agenda for the day was as follows:

• Presentation on sheep production in Spain
• ‘Tips and tricks’ purchased by the Irish delegation
• How information is communicated from research to the end user
• What would stakeholders like from Procision Livestock Farming
• Programme for the transnational workshop next June
