CPT Ram Collection has Commenced

Sheep Ireland are in the process of collecting rams entered into the CPT for the 2019/2020 breeding season. CPT rams are currently being transported to UCD Lyons estate in Dubin where they are being looked after by Sheep Ireland technicians. They are treated with the utmost care over their stay which will last approximately 3 weeks. Many breeders have been in contact to submit their ram. Breeders who have entered rams to the CPT in past years have reaped huge benefits as the accuracies of their rams and his progeny increase significantly, making their genetic evaluations more accurate. They also have genetic linkage to the Central Hub, meaning their flock will be genetically linked for up to 3 years in that particular breed.
