Sheep Ireland Board Meeting

A meeting of the Sheep Ireland Board of representatives took place yesterday (Thursday 24th). At this meeting a number of topics were discussed including;

• LambPlus membership for 2017.
• Future plans for the Sheep Ireland Indexes.
• Across breed evaluation update.
• Genomic evaluation update.
• Update on CPT progress.
• Update on OVIGEN progress.

Deadline for entry to LambPlus 2017

Next Thursday (1st December) marks the deadline for entry to our LambPlus performance recording service for 2017. Sign-up forms are coming into the office in high numbers daily and we will be sending reminder texts to all breeders in the coming days. We also ask all breed society representative to send a reminder text to all their breeders to ensure that no breeder misses out.
