The LambPlus Breeding Information Service provides a range of farm management aids including: flock inventory, mating and lambing records, performance recording, ultrasound scanning, faecal egg counting, action lists, genetic evaluations, and recording notebooks.
This service is still under development and is being expanded as new information becomes available. It caters for all sheep breeds, it will support pedigree recording and from mid 2009 is expected to be officially recognised by a number of Irish Flock books.
The service is available either directly through the web (www.sheep.ie) or via paper and post.
